I probably missed the point of this product when I bought it but this is only useful if you have batteries all in ONE place, nearby each other.
I planned to use this to allow charing my loader battery(on the machine) but wanted to also charge a remote battery 15ft away. That would require yet another cable / extension for this otherwise useful, Y connector.
