Product Description

Features:  

  • 3 in-line, replaceable 15 Amp in-blade fuse to keep each connection protected against potential short circuits.
  • Standard 5/16 negative 3/8 positive terminals.  
  • Each end features an automotive SAE "bullet" connector with cap. Connect the dual cords to your batteries via Ring Terminal Assembly, Battery Clips, or Insulated Battery Clips (sold separately.)  
  • Two 15 Amp fuses, to be used to replace the fuses in the battery connector assembly (Ring Terminal assembly or Battery Clips) if they are not 15 Amps.  
  • 24 inches long

  • Never connect two or more batteries together before fully charging each individually and checking their condition. Failure to fully charge each battery and check their condition can result in a serious safety hazard.    

FOR AVIATION APPLICATIONS, WE NO LONGER ADVISE USE OF THE RTA-2415 ON FLOODED BATTERIES WHILE FLOODED BATTERY IS LOCATED WITHIN A CONFINED AREA, SUCH AS IN AN AIRCRAFT ENGINE COMPARTMENT.  BATTERY SHOULD BE REMOVED OR OPEN TO FREE FLOWING AIR TO AVOID POSSIBLE BUILD-UP OF HARMFUL HYDROGEN GAS SHOULD BATTERY HAVE A SHORTED CELL(S) OR CHARGING SOURCE IS INCORRECT OR MALFUNCTIONS.  PLEASE USE THE RTA-2415EXP CONNECTION FOR EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT.
