The SmarTECHnology™ Plug 'n Run 1.5 Amp battery charger/maintainer system features a full-time automatic pulse desulfator that can help extend a battery's life up to 4 times its normal life when compared to new batteries that are not being properly charged/maintained over their lifetime. Just plug it in and the BatteryMINDer® takes care of the rest.

The Right Charge Every Time
An automatic high-low temperature compensator is installed in the BatteryMINDer® to ensure that batteries will never be overcharged or undercharged, regardless of the operating temperature. This ambient temperature sensor is installed for a -4°F (-20°C) to 122°F (50°C).

If you're looking for versatility, look no further! The BatteryMINDer® can be used for charging, maintaining or recovering 12V batteries. The unit uses automatic full-time high frequency (not high voltage) pulse-type desulfation that is ideal for helping to recover weak batteries.

Works with a Variety of Battery Types
Flooded, sealed, maintenance-free, starter, deep cycle, Optima brand sealed AGM, and marine batteries — the BatteryMINDer® handles them all. This unit can even maintain up to 4 batteries at one time when connected in parallel (parallel connection requires use of Y-connectors, Item# 27879, sold separately, or an 18ga. insulated wire, not included).

• Installed ambient temperature sensor for -4°F (-20°C) to 122°F (50°C). operating range ensures the battery will never be overcharged or undercharged regardless of temperature extremes.

• Energy Star rated, which means it meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy.
• Certified by the California Energy Commission as meeting the current efficiency standards.
• Never connect two or more batteries together before fully charging each and checking their condition. Failure to fully charge each battery and check their condition can result in a serious safety hazard.
• Including but not limited to: Maintenance-free Flooded (filler cap) and sealed, Starter, Deep Cycle, Marine, and Hybrid.

• Not for use with specialty sealed AGM batteries, except for Optima brand sealed AGM, choose model 2012-AGM for these battery types. Choose model 2012 for standard AGM types.
